FDI specialise in the manufacture of access control systems. Since 1989, through its use of up to date technology, highly skilled and experienced people, FDI is recognised as a mainstream access control manufacturer for residential and commercial applications. Our use of RFID technologies has made our Transit standalone and Passan networked access control systems popular with installers and end users. FDI employees over 50 people and manages projects from R & D level to production with dedicated engineering and software design teams striving towards continual improvement to meet and exceed the requirement to secure access to buildings.

At each step of the manufacturing process, the products are continuously monitored. For standard products (series production) we carry out a sample production control, however all specific products are fully controlled. Any defective component identified is then isolated for further analyses, then it will be repaired or eliminated from the production process.
The production is continuously updated to ensure that all products offer the highest standards of quality and reliability.
